Last weeks predictions were exactly what l said they would be,short and sweet, and this week l hope to make up for the shortcomings.
I would like to Welcome Sexy Poolers to GIT, as they were able to come away with a 3-2 Victory over MIB in thier first official week here. They are Captained by Pete(who l had the pleasure of playing in 8br) this week, and seem to have a semi-solid team with the likes of ketan and ste in tow.
As we enter Week 3, Magic Pool and Extreme Pool Competitors sit atop the standings with each winning thier first two matches respectively. Maybe the most shocking thing so far into the season is where Brit Pool sits, Dead Last. It's still early in the season, but they dont need to wait much longer to get it together if they intend on competing with the Top Teams this season.
Week 3 Predictions :
Straight Shots Vs Brit Pool
This should be a very intresting match, if you like decently skilled players going at it trying to prove themselves on cam. On the SS side, you have a team that cannot be predicted much this early into the season. They had a Week 1 time out win to the now expired EC and a Week 2 raping courtesy of Magic Pool. On the BP side you have a yet unproven team, waiting unpatiently for thier first win of the season. They lost a tough match Week 1 to Magic Pool, and followed that up with a 4-1 stomping from Freedom. I think its time they erase that goose egg, and chalk one up one the winners column.
3-2(Bp)
Money In the Bank Vs Magic Pool
Magic Pool is taking names and kicking ass to start off the season very well. They obviously didnt like thier preseason rankings and are out to prove they belong here and near the top is where they will stay. They are coming off a 5-0 win against SS, and dont look to slow down any at all this week. MIB's only player so far seems to be Dawn and she just isnt gonna be enough, even if this was carry format and it's not. Chris and crew take this one with ease. Scrub David makes the only loss :)
4-1(Mp)
Freedom Vs Ultimate Outlaws
With UO's recent dramatic withdrawl from WPC, comes a want within UO to prove themselves in thier remaining interleagues. I'm not certain, nor do l care what happened..It's another interleague, one of which has never been run in a decent manner by Jason ..so to UO, I say move on and prove yourselves elsewhere. They will not get a chance to do so this week however, because they unfortunately face the group from Freedom, who are yet to have a captain or co-captain listed. Maybe they are trying to keep options open, or maybe we have lazy page editors(j/k guys), but either way they come to play each week, and seem to be enjoying themselves underneath Epc & Mp in the standings.
3-2(Fr)
***Match of the Week***
Extreme Pool Competitors Vs Sexy Poolerz
Yes, this is the 2nd time EPC has had this honor, but with the new addition of SP into GIT, this should prove to be quite the match to watch. On the Epc side, you have faithful Jack, who does whatever he can to get his players in order and so far has been able to do so without much trouble. Epc has a select group of skill at thier disposal and look to bring thier best this week against a solid Sexy Poolerz side. Sp is captained by Pete and while he will try to match skills player for player, Epc has homefield advantage and will call thier players accordingly with a final outcome of another win.
3-2(Epc)
Good Luck Everyone!
